Wasted Trip?
For the first time in a long time Morgan went to bed early last night and stayed there! Suddenly I had a huge need for chocolate and Alan kindly offered to take his bike for a ride and go and get some……just an excuse to go out on his bike but I certainly wasn’t gong to complain if it resulted in some chocolate!
Off he went and just as it was getting dark (and hour and a half later) and I was starting to think ‘he should be back by now’, sure enough back he came looking slightly sheepish! He had gone to Borth and stopped at the ‘chocolate shop’ only to realise he would have to leave his brand new pride and joy mountain bike outside unattended so decided not to bother.
Needless to say, I didn’t get any chocolate but a rare hour to myself and being able to watch holby city in compete peace (except for our daft cat coming in for her tea, then going out, then coming in – you get the idea) was a rare treat.

I don’t know if I’d be brave enough to return without chocolate. It’s almost worth risking the bike! You’re obviously too soft on Al!
I’ve got a bike, it weighs a fair bit but it’s good enough for now! I don’t get out much on it so would be good if you brought yours. I already have many many toys on my list a new bike would be lost amongst them!!
I was pretty worried whilst on my ride…. Maybe that was why it took so long as I was plucking up the courage to return home…
I would like to bring my bike to the IOM with me James, but Donna probably wouldn’t forgive me as you always seem to end up buying a new toy whenever you meet me, and I’m sure with the wedding looming you can’t afford a new bike!

LOL…. I don’t think I’ll be able to fit the bike in this time…. And don’t know where I’d keep it once I got there, especially seeing as we now have to bring a vacuum cleaner over for Pat..
I don’t know, they go on about boys and their toys, but my car will be filled half filled with a new ‘toy’ for Pat!!
