Moths at the Porch Light
I haven’t put the moth trap out for quite a while now – Shame on me – but the weather hasn’t really been conducive and we haven’t had the time. Although as Anna says we should probably try to put it out once a week on the same night regardless of the weather as recording the fact that no moths were caught is just as important data as catching hundreds.
Anyway, despite this, there were a couple of moths at the porch light and window last night so I did have a couple to identify, although I think I’ve lost my touch a little as they should have been easy to ID but weren’t. Both were new garden records for me though which is nice.
