Our Igloo
It’s almost dark out there so I’ve put a single tea-light candle in the igloo and it is looking really cosy in there now.
I’m pretty proud of our igloo!!

Fuerteventura – Days 4 & 5: From Windsurfing to Wave Watching: A Coastal Escape
Monday, March 31st, 2025
I did it – I spent the night in it and it was actually pretty warm. Weel, actually, that’s going a little too far it wasn’t cold though, and I didn’t even realise it was pretty windy. I’ve just checked the weather station and it’s been gusting to almost 30 knots while I was in the igloo and with temperatures around minus 4ºC I was surprisingly snug.
The apparent temperature, which takes into account the temperature, humidity and wind was around minus 12ºC so there’s no way I would have been so comfortable out there without the igloo.
