You’re making me hungry ;p
As a rule, we buy our meat from Morgan’s or Rattray’s but Morrisons do do a good ribeye steak and the others often don’t oblige that cut. Last week, there were none on the shelves in Morrisons so I went to the counter and had 2 cut from the carcass. “How’s that look?” as the butcher ran the clever down the hunk of meat. “Great!” I say, “2 the same please”. I walked out 12 quid lighter but bloody hel they were good steaks! Can’t beat a good ribeye unless it’s a Welsh Black fillet cooked to perfection, and rven then sometimes only ribeye will do. Yum!
These were from Bow Street butchers…rib eye and very very tasty….cooked to perfection even if I do say so myself. That must be a first!
