Angry Bird Pumpkin
It’s Halloween, so Morgan and Anna spent yesterday afternoon preparing the pumpkin we grew in the garden.
It was quite a large pumpkin so they were able to do two designs on it, and there was loads of flesh and loads of seeds too. So, as well as creating a spooky halloween lantern to ward off evil spirits they were able to get enough flesh to cook plenty of pumpkin soup and some delicious pumpkin pies. On top of that there were plenty seeds for toasting and eating and some have been put back ready to grow again next year.
One side of the pumpkin now has an angry bird carving on it and the other side a witches cat.
