Picnic in the Park
As per usual, family logistics were a little hectic yesterday. Fitting in collecting Morgan from school, work, collecting Morgans friends and looking after them, dinner, training and a school disco meant a few changes to the usual routine.
It turned out good though. Anna decided to work late and take a very late lunch. This meant that I could collect the boys from school, we could all meet up for a picnic in the park on the Waun, where we could do some slack-lining, Anna could then take them to the school disco and go back to work for a bit whilst I went training and Anna could collect the boys from the disco once she finished work later in the evening.
It was a perfect afternoon for a picnic as well. The sun was shining and there was a feel of summer in the air. The council haven’t mowed the grass in the park yet either so it was looking lovely thanks to a sea of bright yellow buttercups. I don’t know if the council have left the flowers by design or just out of inefficiency with the mowing but I think it looks lovely and has to be of benefit to the bees and other insects so I think they should leave it for a little longer.
I had my new iPhone with me as well so I had chance to try out its camera.
