Ullswater
Although we didn’t finish day 3 of our canoe build until about 4pm, it was a nice day so we decided to drive to Aira Force on the far side of Ullswater for a little walk. We went via Pooley Bridge, the location if some serious flooding over winter and therefore of a temporary bridge to keep the two sides have f the village connected.
Once at Aira Force we had a nice walk around the impressive waterfalls and found a few geocaches. The sun had gone by now so it was a little grey but still good to get some fresh air.

We then headed back to the comfort of our holiday cottage where we cooked up a much needed dinner of pulled chicken brioche rolls with a nice fresh salad and relaxed for the evening.
